Our Story

The TV Shop began in 2018 as a small retail outlet with a big vision: to provide every customer access to high-quality LED televisions at fair and transparent prices. From day one, we combined the reliability of a neighbourhood store with the ambitions of a growing brand.

What started as a single store has evolved into a multi-branch retail and wholesale network, serving households, corporate offices, schools, hotels, and dealer partners. Our team works closely together, supporting one another and sharing a common goal—delivering excellent service and helping every customer enjoy the joy of modern entertainment. Each expansion reflects our dedication to quality, fairness, and community, while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment for every customer.

Our Vision 

We aim to bring The TV Shop to every corner of India, making e’Rable a trusted name nationwide. Great entertainment should be accessible to everyone, and our mission is to combine affordability with top-tier quality. From HD-Ready, FHD, FHD+ / 2K, to 4K screens for apartments, offices, or lounges, our goal is that anyone, anywhere, can experience the perfect view.

Our Journey of Growth 

Since our inception in 2018, The TV Shop has grown from a single store into a trusted network of 11 branches across Tamil Nadu. Each milestone represents not just expansion, but a step toward fulfilling our mission: making high-quality, affordable televisions accessible to every home.

2018 – The Beginning

The TV Shop opened its doors with a clear purpose: to provide premium LED TVs at fair prices. From the very first sale, we committed to helping customers experience entertainment in its most vivid form.

2019 – First Branch in Saidapet

Our first branch in Saidapet, Chennai, allowed us to showcase our curated range of TVs and accessories, introducing local households to a new standard of home entertainment.

2020 – Flagship Showroom in Chennai 

The flagship showroom enabled us to expand product variety, host live demonstrations, and provide same-day delivery and professional installation, elevating the overall customer experience.

2022 – Expansion in Chennai & Coimbatore  

  ● Valasaravakkam (March) – Strengthened our presence in Chennai for easier accessibility.

  ● Velachery (April) – Expanded to serve more families and dealer partners within the city.

  ● Coimbatore (September) – Extended our reach to western Tamil Nadu, delivering quality and affordability to a larger audience. 

2023 – Launch of e’Rable & Branch Expansion

  ● Launch of e’Rable – Our own in-house brand, offering high-quality, reliable TVs for homes, combining modern technology with competitive pricing.

  ● Tenkasi (January) – Introduced contemporary TV solutions to southern communities.

  ● Salem & Kovilpatti (March) – Added two strategic branches to expand access across central and southern Tamil Nadu.

  ● Thanjavur (December) – Opened a store in this culturally rich city, blending heritage with modern entertainment technology.

2024 – Coastal Expansion: Cuddalore (June) 

Reaching the coastal city of Cuddalore, we extended our network to serve families along the east coast with both retail and wholesale solutions. 

2025 – Strengthening the Far South & Milestone

  ● Tirunelveli (March) – Established a hub in the southernmost region of Tamil Nadu.

  ● Madurai (September) – Celebrated our 11th branch, marking a significant milestone in becoming the go-to destination for quality TVs across the state.
